Senior Data Center Engineer with German language {nabídka práce}

Popis pracovní pozice

  • Level 2/3 support with the main focus on Data Centre Technologies
  • Monitoring of the ticketing system (Service Now) and ticket handling to achieve and exceed SLA/OLA requirements
  • Advance trouble shooting supporting Data Centre Technologies with focus on Linux and Windows Servers
  • Basic knowledge of NetApp storage administration, Hypervisor/VMware, Cisco UCS hardware
  • Technical coordination and preparation of technical documentation and reports
  • On-call availability out of business hours & public holidays
  • Knowledge transfer to L1 engineers.
  • Assisting Level 1 Engineering teams with escalation support
  • Supporting CMDB accuracy & maintenance
  • Change request logging, evaluation and execution
  • Risk analysis and management
  • Accurate RCA to drive problem management

Požadavky

  • Relevant work experience in the areas of Data Centre and Security - Basic Data Centre knowledge (servers, virtualization, backup services)
  • Understanding of Event, Incident, Request, Change and Problem Management as per ITIL best practice
  • Fluent English and German skills (in speaking and writing) - at least B2
  • A structured approach combined with a very careful, accurate and results-oriented approach, particularly in problem analysis
  • Strong customer and service orientation combined with good work etiquette, good communication and teamwork skill

Technical requirements:

  • working experience with managing Linux (SLES 11 / SLES 12 / RedHat 7 / Oracle Linux 7 - CLI) Server: Advanced Troubleshooting, iSCSI / Multipath
  • knowledge of managing Windows servers would be a big plus
